Birdy - Beautiful Lies

       

 On the 25th of March Birdy released her new album named Beautiful Lies.

I have loved Birdy since she released Skinny Love all those years ago, and then wrote Not About Angels for the movie "The Fault in our Stars." When I first listened to her latest album, it melted my heart and soul into a puddle beneath me. It struck me and left me feeling emotional yet understood. The beautiful melodies rise and fall with the sweet piano keys echoing in the background, and the crescendo of the strings makes my heart soar like a bird. Her sweet, honest voice reaches the highest of notes with an elegance that I greatly admire, and her carefully crafted lyrics truly tell a story.
