Back Home
Eventually I arrived home after a wonderful time in Hong Kong. I was so excited on the way back to home, and that I would see my family soon. It was the most surreal feeling, walking through the airport, and seeing my family and friends standing there, unable to control their excitement. It had never felt so good, than that moment when my best friend comes running up to me and embraces me in such a loving and strong hug. Then nothing can replace that feeling when I hugged my parents for the first time in 2 months. Their hug was love, pride, and simply irreplaceable.
My jet lagged self then made my way through the rest of the day. Slowly getting ready for school on Monday. It was such an odd feeling, even things like walking around in a supermarket, and being able understand everything, or sitting in a cafe, and you can understand the chatter of the couple next to you.
Going back to school was also exciting, being able to see my friends again, but it was quite a bit harder staying focused when my body was telling me I should be sleeping. Thankfully my jet lag wasn't too bad, I think it was worse going over there because I was also homesick, and everything was different and unfamiliar.
But now it is the school holidays, and I am getting back into the swing of things.
Please keep following this blog, I will continue to update it with things that happen in my life.
Feel free to like, share and follow, I would love to share my incredible story with other people.
