Germany Day 11 and 12

Tuesday 29th 

We arrived around 6ish, and met Dianas friends that we stayed with, who were so welcoming. 

Wednesday 30th

We got up kind of early and took the train to go sight seeing.

Then we went to where the Berlin wall was.

We then went to Checkpoint Charlie.

And then to the Berlin War museum.

It was not nearly as heavy, or sad as the Nürnberg museum, the Berlin museum was mainly about the wall, and how people did/tried to escape it.

Some people were smuggled through the wall in this small car.

I then was told that we are not allowed to take photos.... oops!

So I have no more photos from the museum.

We then went to a place with street performers and many, many stalls.

Olivia and I saw this girl jumping on  a small trampoline in the ground, and Olivia commented that they should put those trampolines in all of the pot holes in Chch, then we could bounce to school!

We then took the train home, and the adults went out salsa dancing, while Olivia, and 2 of the children we were staying with, and I played games at home :)
