Horses in Germany
So last Saturday, I went with Olivia and stayed the night with her aunty Doris. That afternoon we went and rode her horse Ekvaro, who was gorgeous and has beautiful paces.
The interior of the stables.
The exterior of the stables.
A beautiful friesian that was at the stables.
So we stayed the night at Doris's house, which involved eating a lot of pizza and german chocolate :) Then we got up at 5:30am to go to the stables, where we helped Doris with the horses. We first went and fed all the 15 horses, then put them into their paddocks, then swept the stables. Then we went back in the afternoon, and brought the horses back into the stables, and fed them. Then we watched Doris ride beautifully.
On Thursday Olivia and I are planning on going to a riding camp for a day, but the only horses the riding school has are Icelandic ponies!!! So of course my dad immediately made a joke about making sure Olivia and I don't skin our knees on the ground.... so will be interesting and I will post after :)
